The subject of decoloniality has enveloped a lot of the discourse in African philosophy or
scholarship for some time now. The debates around it have been very enthralling and lively.
These debates include issues of the nature, scope, and relevance of decoloniality—some of
which are raised as objections by decolonial skeptics and advocates of transcoloniality.
